We aren’t doing this for awareness alone.
In America, about 79% of all suicide deaths are men—nearly 100 men every day. That’s not normal. We’re screaming into the void until real conversation starts. Running has been one of the most powerful tools for both of us in fighting our own individual darkness and we want to support others on their journey, no matter where they are.
Help us start more of these conversations.
WHO WE ARE
-

Ryan Wilson
Ryan is a 28-year-old endurance athlete, adventurer, and entrepreneur whose passion for exploration has shaped both his athletic pursuits and personal life. With a background in Ironman triathlon, ultrarunning, and mountaineering, Ryan has spent the past five years traveling extensively across the United States and internationally—training, exploring, and continuously pushing the limits of human endurance.Professionally, Ryan is a serial remote salesperson and online business consultant, building location-independent work around a life driven by challenge and curiosity. His experiences in extreme environments and endurance sport have fueled a relentless desire to seek new limits and redefine what’s possible.
After facing significant mental health challenges in his youth, Ryan has transformed adversity into purpose. Through his athletic journey, he aims to demonstrate the power of resilience, discipline, and intentional discomfort. By attempting the world’s highest-elevation ultramarathon, Ryan hopes to inspire others to forge their own path, embrace growth, and pursue meaningful change by doing hard things—on purpose.

Tony Beranek
Tony is a 33-year-old endurance athlete, youth sports coach and former collegiate lacrosse player whose relationship with running has evolved into a living experiment in resilience, identity, and human potential.Through ultramarathons ranging from Florida’s summer swamps to the exposed ridgelines of Colorado’s high country, Tony has come to see the trail as a classroom. The lessons learned in motion—patience, humility, presence and the power of reframing—have translated directly into how he lives, works, and relates to others.
In 2019, after a complete personal and financial collapse unraveled much of his life, Tony turned to running and meditation as a stabilizing force. The simple wisdom of “one foot in front of the other” became both a survival strategy and a philosophy for rebuilding.
What began as a coping mechanism evolved into a deeper belief: that identity is shaped through consistent, intentional action over time. Tony’s pursuit of the world’s highest-elevation ultramarathon is not about spectacle, but proof—that extraordinary outcomes are accessible to ordinary people willing to stay with the work.
Mantra to live by:
“BE WHERE YOUR FEET ARE”
Tony and Ryan know what it’s like to wrestle with their own darkness. They’ve both lived seasons of silence, struggle, and internal battles that no one else could see. They’ve also learned firsthand that isolation is where suffering deepens—and that growth rarely happens alone.
This project is their way of standing with the men who are struggling quietly, using challenge as a vehicle for transformation, and proving that hard things can pull us forward rather than break us.
This isn’t just a record attempt. It’s an act of brotherhood, accountability, and shared becoming. Two men. Two stories. One commitment: to not look away—and to remind others they don’t have to either.
WHY WE’RE DOING THIS TOGETHER
FUNDRAISING GOAL
We’re raising $20,000 for men’s mental health organizations.
Not because we think money fixes everything.
But because support matters.
Visibility matters.
And showing up matters.
We’ll announce the partner organization soon.
Fundraising will start on Feb 1st
